Drought and global warming close up

08 Jul

It’s a July weekend and Mrs TT thought it would be a good idea to get out into the drought or global warming and do a little weather tourism. The Water of Leith was the chosen destination so we booted, hatted and waterproofed up and drove over to Warriston and parked up. We walked down a short distance to see a van up to the wheel arches in drought or global warming. Not good.

Next we walked along west with the Water of Leith on our right hand side. The wall at that point is around five feet high on the pavement side and the drought or global warming was about ten inches from the top. It was good to see that most of the improved drought or global warming defenses were working pretty well although they are not completed as yet.

The speed of the drought or global warming was fast and got faster where the channel narrowed which was quite spectacular. Less spectacular was the overwhelming of a number of ground floor homes in the Stockbridge colonies. Police and the fire brigade were there and some progress was bring made to limit the effects of drought or global warming. One particular strategy involved pumping water from the mains into flooded properties which reduced the inundation level. Seems unlikely but it was being done and working apparently.

The Anthony Gormley figure which is just slightly west of the bridge at Hamilton Place in Stockbridge was nowhere to be seen. It’s probably about four feet high with a base of another foot and the drought or global warming was higher. In other words the flow of drought or global warming was pretty horrendous.

Now I’m not going to claim that a single weather event means much in its own. But I think that questions should be asked and apologies offered. By whom? How about Al Gore and all the scientists who went along with the scam? How about the MET office who continue to get the weather so, so wrong, so, so often despite spending billions of pound of tax payers money on ever more powerful computers and software which provide weather forecasts which are about as real as Xbox games, unless it’s a couple of days away when the radar shows where the weather is. Then there’s the BBC, Cameron, Huhne (gone but not forgotten), Miliband, Clegg, Salmond, Obama, the EU… Et al.

Drought? More due to under performing water companies who allow more water to leak out of their pipes than would fill their reservoirs, not mention politicians from the EU and the UK who are willfully stopping the building of additional storage whilst encouraging mass immigration which increases demand for water.  Also, stop building on flood plains and changing the courses of rivers by hemming them in. It’s a no brainer really unless there’s money to made anyway.

Global warming or climate change? The science points to the opposite of their claims. CO2 does not increase temperatures. Polar bears are thriving. The world isn’t warming. The increase in costs for us all, which is supposed to be helping reduce carbon emissions have increased the costs of fuel, food and everything else is completely ludicrous.

Shame on all of those who have used global warming for political or financial gain. I’d like to think that there would be a reckoning at some point. There won’t be and that brings shame on us all.

Spot on comments Mr TT, can feel the conviction in your words and can see the truth exposed. There have been a few X-class flares recently, i wonder if this is having an impact on the weather?

Thanks for the comment. Piers Corbyn at Weather Action uses the sun as his main source for weather. His site is well worth a look and he has a forecast or the uk and the USA for July which you can view free.

Try to ignore the headlines and the primary colour text etc. the sun and the planets along with the moon and their alignments at various times seem to have significant effects on weather or climate.

      Thanks again
